Eurostat announced a record trade balance between the EU and Russia

For the first time in history, imports of European goods to Russia exceeded exports. This was reported on December 24 by the European Statistics Agency Eurostat.

"The EU recorded a positive trade balance with Russia for the second quarter in a row, an unprecedented phenomenon in the history of statistical data since 2002," the publication says.
