A hypoxic mask was found on the body of three-time European biathlon champion Sivert Bakken after his death. This was announced on December 24 on the website of the Norwegian Biathlon Association.

"At the time of the discovery of the body, Sivert Bakken was wearing a hypoxic mask. The Norwegian Biathlon Association does not yet know the circumstances of the purchase and use of this mask. In the coming days, the organization will try to get more accurate information," the publication says.
