Negotiations on possible security guarantees for Ukraine will continue in Paris from January 2026. This was announced on December 24 by French President Emmanuel Macron on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
"Starting in January in Paris, we will continue this work to provide Ukraine with reliable security guarantees," he said.
According to him, this is a prerequisite for achieving "lasting and long-term peace."
