The Chinese cars most reluctantly sold by Russians are listed
Among cars aged 2-10 years, the Omoda and Jaecoo models are most often left with the first owners. On December 24, experts from the Avtoteka service (Avito project) told Izvestia about this, who studied the data from the reports for 2025. It turned out that this year the share of single-owner cars in this category was 31.6%.
The first owners are less likely to part with cars of relatively new brands for the Russian market. Omoda became the leader in the share of single-owner cars with a result of 60.6%, followed by Jaecoo (60.3%), Jetour (55%), Exeed (54.8%) and Moskvich (53.8%), as well as Tank (53.6%), Haval (53.5%), Changan (53%), Kaiyi (52.8%) and Hongqi (52.7%).
Among the models, the highest rates were recorded for two Omoda models — the C5 crossover (60.7%) and the S5 sedan (60.4%). They are followed in the ranking by Jaecoo J7 (60.3%), Haval M6 (59.1%), Changan CS55 Plus (58.8%) and three Chery — Tiggo 8 Pro Max (57.8%), Tiggo 7 Pro Max (57.4%) and Tiggo 4 Pro (57.3%). Lada Granta Cross (56.9%) and Jetour Dashing (56.8%) rounded out the top ten.
Experts noted that single-owner cars often attract buyers because this fact may indicate more careful operation and consistent maintenance.
Earlier that day, Jaecoo announced the dates of the debut of the crossover J6 with karaoke mode in Russia, and Omoda showed the new generation crossover C5 for Russia.
