Jaecoo has announced the date of the debut of the crossover J6 with karaoke mode in Russia

Jaecoo held a private screening of the new J6 crossover in Moscow. The model is scheduled to go on sale at the end of the first and beginning of the second quarter of 2026, the Izvestia correspondent reports on December 24.

The dimensions of the Jaecoo J6 are 4509×1860×1650 mm, it will become the most compact model of the brand in Russia. Initially, the model was announced for the Russian Federation under the name J5. The crossover modification for the Russian market is different in size — its length has increased from 4380 mm, and the wheelbase has increased by 10 mm to 2620 mm.

At the start of sales, the Jaecoo J6 will be offered in Russia with front-wheel drive with a 147 hp 1.5 turbo engine in combination with a six-speed robotic transmission. In the second half of 2026, the range is expected to expand with the introduction of an all-wheel drive modification with a 150-horsepower 1.6 engine with a seven-speed "robot". In all cases, the suspension is independent. Regular training is planned for the tow bar.

It is stated that the J6 is prepared for Russian operating conditions, has galvanized body panels, a package of winter options, a 13.2-inch screen in the cabin, wireless integration with smartphones running on iOS and Android platforms, dual-zone climate control, electric trunk drive and six airbags.

The J6 multimedia system supports karaoke mode. The company also said that the interior of the crossover is finished with materials that are wear-resistant and scratch-resistant, and the model is positioned for pet lovers. A special set of accessories will be provided for pets.

In addition, representatives of Jaecoo said that the J7 Limited Edition crossover, whose design resembles the Range Rover Evoque, will be included in the brand's permanent lineup. It is already being delivered to dealers, and official sales will begin soon. Initially, when the model went on sale, its circulation was limited. The crossover will be equipped with a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine with two boost options (150 and 186 hp), a robotic transmission and all-wheel drive.
