The presentation of the monograph "Mythologems of Pan-Turkism and the security of Russia and Eurasia in the 21st century" on the significance of the Turkic doctrine took place in Kazan. This was reported by the RIAMO news agency on December 24.

The book was prepared by a team of authors, which included specialists from the philosophical club "The Civilizational Future of Russia", the information and consulting center "Axon", Kazan Innovation University (KIU) named after V.G. Timiryasov and other universities. The presentation was attended by Deputy of the State Council of Tatarstan Rinat Fazylov, member of the Public Chamber (CC) of the Republic Dmitry Shiller and the first vice-rector of KIU Igor Bikeev.

The paper analyzes in detail the ideological foundations of pan-Turkism, which is considered as a strategic project of Turkey implemented through the Organization of Turkic States. The authors note the active development of this structure in the economic, cultural, and military-political spheres.

The study pays special attention to assessing the impact of the pan-Turkist project on Russia both on the international arena and within the country. According to the authors, this is the first comprehensive attempt to understand Ankara's interests in states historically and culturally linked to Russia.

Experts emphasize the need to take into account the intensification of Turkish policy in the post-Soviet countries in order to preserve Russian economic and socio-cultural ties with the region. The monograph also provides recommendations for strengthening Russia's cooperation with the states of Central Asia and Transcaucasia.

Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting with Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan on December 12. According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, the heads of state noted that relations between the two countries are developing in all areas. As Peskov stressed, there are no significant problems between Russia and Turkey now.
