Australian authorities have cancelled the visa of a British citizen after he was charged with displaying a banned Nazi symbol. This was reported on December 24 by the Reuters news agency, citing Interior Minister Tony Burke.
"If anyone comes here to incite hatred, let them leave the country," Burke said.
The Australian Interior Ministry clarified that from October to November 2025, the Briton demonstrated a swastika and professed "pro-Nazi ideology, in particular, hatred of the Jewish community" on his social networks.
The man was sent to an immigration detention center, from where he will later be forcibly deported if he does not leave the country voluntarily.
