In Moscow, the second accused of attacking Izvestia journalists was placed under house arrest. This was announced on December 24 by the press service of the capital's courts of general jurisdiction.

The day before, the court placed under house arrest one of the defendants in the attack on Izvestia journalist Ivan Litomin.

"On December 23, 2025, the Ostankino District Court of Moscow granted the request of the investigation and chose a preventive measure in the form of house arrest for a period of 1 month and 30 days against Arsen Vladimirovich Sharuda, accused of obstructing the legitimate professional activities of journalists," the Telegram channel said.
