In Ukraine, the insecurity of most electrical substations was noted
In Ukraine, most regional power substations remain unprotected. This was announced on December 23 by Alexander Kharchenko, Director of the Energy Research Center.
"There is no protection for the vast majority of stations. There are no gabions, no sandbags— nothing. <...> The drone did not hit the object itself, but its debris is scattering and covering a large area," he said on the Public News program.
On December 23, the Ukrainian media reported that emergency blackouts had been introduced in several regions of the country. In particular, it affected Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Dnipropetrovsk regions and partly Kiev. In addition, hot water was turned off in one of the cities of the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
