The Kelly oil tanker, which left Venezuela last week, has returned to the waters of the Bolivarian Republic with a cargo of oil. This was reported on December 23 by Reuters with reference to TankerTrackers.com .

"The huge oil tanker Kelly under the flag of Panama, which left Venezuela with oil last week, returned to Venezuelan waters amid the interception of an increasing number of tankers by the Americans," the publication says.

Like the Centuries tanker previously intercepted by the United States, Kelly left Venezuela under the protection of the country's naval forces. The oil vessel has now returned to Venezuelan waters and is parked near the port of Amoay.

Earlier, on December 21, it was reported that a tanker detained by American servicemen off the coast of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela was transporting oil belonging to a Chinese company. The Centuries supertanker, which had up to 2 million barrels of Venezuelan oil, was sailing under the Panamanian flag.
