The Air Defense Forces intercepted an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) flying towards Moscow. This was announced on December 24 by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, in the Telegram channel.

"The Defense Ministry's air defenses shot down a drone flying towards Moscow," he said.

Emergency services specialists are working at the crash site.
