Russian Foreign Ministry appoints new Ambassador-at-large

The Russian Foreign Ministry has appointed a new ambassador—at-large to prepare for Russia's participation in the 2026 Review Conference of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT), Andrei Belousov. This was announced on December 23 by the Russian diplomatic department on its website.

"By order of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Andrei Ivanovich Belousov was appointed ambassador—at-large," the publication says.
