In the Ostrovsky district of the Pskov region, two people were injured as a result of a garbage truck driving into a ditch. This was reported to the Pskov news feed in the press service of the Department of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region.

The accident occurred the day before, on December 22, on the 337th km of the St. Petersburg - Pskov – Pustoshka –Nevel federal highway – the border with the Republic of Belarus. According to the traffic police, the garbage truck left the road and flew into the left ditch.

The driver and his passenger, born in 1991, were injured in the accident. The circumstances of the incident are being established.

On December 21, a car collided with a school bus on a highway in Udmurtia. 14 people were injured, including seven children.
