Orban declared Europe's readiness to start a war with Russia
The moment is getting closer when Europe may start a war directly against Russia. This was announced on December 23 by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
"We are so close to this that the Hungarian public cannot imagine it. Anti—war rallies are needed so that people feel the immediacy of this danger," Orban said in an interview with TV2, a recording of the broadcast was posted on the YouTube channel.
According to him, the Europeans have openly expressed their desire to arm and finance Ukraine, despite the peaceful attempts of US President Donald Trump. The Hungarian Prime Minister also stressed that the European Union "is even now talking about sending peacekeeping troops there."
On December 19, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov noted that Russia has no aggressive plans against the European Union and NATO, it can record this in writing. At the same time, the minister declared Russia's readiness to respond to possible attacks by the European Union.
On the same day, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the statements of the head of the North Atlantic Alliance (NATO) Mark Rutte about the alleged possible war with Russia are nonsense.
