Putin became the man of the year according to Russians
More than a third of Russians surveyed called Russian President Vladimir Putin the man of the year among the country's politicians. This follows from the data published on December 23 by the Public Opinion Foundation.
It is specified that 36% of the respondents named the head of state. The second place with 6% was taken by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, and the third place was taken by the country's Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. The list also includes Defense Minister Andrei Belousov, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin, and politician Vladimir Zhirinovsky, who died in April 2022.
