The court questioned another perpetrator of the terrorist attack in Crocus
The Second Western District Military Court interrogated Dalerjon Mirzoev (recognized in Russia as a terrorist and extremist), accused of committing a terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall concert hall near Moscow. This was reported to Izvestia on December 17 by Lyudmila Aivar, the victims' lawyer.
"As of today, the court has questioned Mirzoev. We continue to announce Mirzoev's testimony. Mirzoev testified in Tajik through an interpreter," she said.
On December 17, the lawyer clarified that the court had questioned another perpetrator of the terrorist attack, Shamsidin Fariduni (recognized in Russia as a terrorist and extremist). He testified in Russian. Fariduni said that he fully admits his guilt, sincerely repented, and he also apologized to the entire Russian people.
The terrorist attack at Crocus occurred on March 22, 2024, when armed terrorists in camouflage broke into the concert hall and opened fire, setting the premises on fire. As a result of the tragedy, 149 people were killed, more than 600 were injured in various degrees of severity, and one person is missing.
The court began considering the case of the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall on the merits in August 2025. During the meeting, the defendants admitted their guilt. The participants in the trial noted that the verdict of the accused could be announced before the end of the year. However, the victims' defense appealed to the court with a request for the appointment of repeated and additional forensic medical examinations.
On December 10, the Second Western District Military Court announced that the prosecution had completed the presentation of evidence in the criminal case of the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall concert Hall.
