Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov congratulated the soldiers of the 36th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Lozovskaya Red Banner Brigade on the liberation of Andreevka in the Dnipropetrovsk region. This was announced by the Russian Defense Ministry on December 23.

He also noted the courage and bravery of the Russian military, who ensure the successful completion of tasks in the area of the special military operation, and expressed confidence in their continued service to the Motherland with honor.

"The names of the soldiers who gave their lives in the struggle for the national interests of the state will always serve as an example of boundless love for their Homeland," Belousov stressed.

On the same day, the Russian Defense Ministry announced the capture of the settlements of Andreevka in the Dnipropetrovsk region and Prilipka in the Kharkiv region. In the Kharkiv direction, the troops managed to defeat the formations of two mechanized brigades, the assault regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and the air defense brigade in the areas of the settlements of Ryzhevka, Grabovskoye, Andreevka, Alekseevka and Yablonovka of the Sumy region.
