Russian Fakhretdinov was excluded from the UFC roster
The Absolute Fighting Championship (UFC) has decided not to renew the contract with Russian fighter Rinat Fahretdinov. This was announced on December 23 on the organization's website.
As noted by Sport-Express, during his career in the promotion, Fahretdinov had seven fights, of which he won six and one ended in a draw. In September 2025, he knocked out Andreas Gustafsson of Sweden at a tournament in Paris.
According to the fighter himself, the reason for the exclusion was, among other things, the termination of the contract.
"Our contract just ended, for certain reasons it was not extended. There are small nuances that I won't tell you here," Fahretdinov said in a video posted on his Telegram channel.
In January, Russian mixed martial artist Victoria Dudakova was fired from the UFC after she punched her coach Hasanali Hasanaliev after losing the tournament. At the same time, besides Dudakova, Russian Magomed Gadzhiyasulov and Ukrainian Igor Potera left the organization.
