Residents of the Eastern Administrative District have received a 20% increase in house renovation fees

Starting in 2026, contributions for major repairs of apartment buildings will increase in the EAO. The relevant law was adopted by the deputies of the regional parliament by a majority vote.

IA EAOmedia, citing a message from the press service of the parliament, writes that the increase in the amount of the contribution is a necessary measure. This is necessary so that the MCD overhaul program continues to operate on the territory of the autonomy and its volume does not decrease. In 2022, tariffs for house repairs were increased immediately by 40%.

The agency notes that more than 20 houses in different municipalities have been renovated in the region this year, including in Birobidzhan, Babstovo, Obluchye, Nikolaevka.

The press service of the Parliament indicated that representatives of the Territorial Development Fund worked in the EAO in September. Their conclusions are based on the methodological recommendations of the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation. The experts presented economically justified calculations of what fees can ensure the most effective implementation of the MCD overhaul program in the territory of the EAO.

Earlier it was reported that the EAO will receive 2 billion rubles from budgets of all levels as part of the implementation of the national project "Infrastructure for Life". The funds are intended for the comprehensive renovation of settlements. 1.4 billion rubles have been allocated from the federal budget for these purposes.
