On December 23, US President Donald Trump said that The New York Times (NYT) poses a threat to the United States.

"The NYT is the real enemy of the people," Trump wrote on the TruthSocial social network.

He also stressed. that The New York Times deliberately misrepresents information and "poses a serious threat to national security."

On November 9, Trump, on his Truth Social network, thanked The Telegraph newspaper for exposing the falsification of his speech on the riots in the Capitol by the BBC television channel. In addition, he called the dismissed heads of the TV channel "dishonest people who tried to stand on the scales of the presidential election."

On November 15, the American leader confirmed that he would sue the BBC, despite the TV company's apologies for the incorrect editing of his speech in the Panorama program. After that, the BBC officially apologized to the US president for the "mistake in assessing the situation."
