The calculation of the TOS-1A "Solntsepek" destroyed the AFU stronghold in the Red Army direction

Military personnel of the calculation of the 1A Solntsepek heavy flamethrower system of the 2nd Guards Regiment of radiation, Chemical and Biological protection of the 2nd Guards Combined arms Army of the Center group of forces destroyed a point of formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Red Army area of the special military operation zone. This was reported on December 23 in the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

It is noted that enemy positions with camouflaged firing points were discovered during reconnaissance using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). After that, the calculation of the TOS-1A Solntsepek received an order to strike at the specified target.

220-millimeter rocket-propelled incendiary shells were used to strike.

"A full package [of ammunition] covers an area like four football fields. This turns out to be 24 pieces [of shells]," says Dmitry Usov, commander of the combat vehicle.

After striking and completing the task, the crew promptly left the combat position. The real-time correction and control of target damage was provided by the calculation of the troops of the Center group's unmanned systems.

The operator of the FPV drone, who destroyed hundreds of armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, is confident that he will return to service after being seriously injured.

On December 22, Russian fighters from the Sever group showed Izvestia the operation of the latest TOS-2 flame-throwing system, or Tosochka, as the military calls it, in the Sumy region. Multiple rocket launchers do not leave the slightest chance for the Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters to escape from the strikes. The crew has very little time to apply them.
