Kobakhidze spoke about the EU's use of blackmail against Georgia
The European Union (EU) has used the topic of Georgia's possible European integration to blackmail and exert pressure on the country. Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said this on December 22.
"Just as NATO's open—door policy eventually turned out to be a draught policy, so here it turned out that it was not an open-door policy of the European Union towards Georgia, but a draught policy, where the issue of European integration was used only as a tool of blackmail against Georgia," he said in an interview with Rustavi 2 TV channel.
