Krasnaya Polyana Mountain Resort in Sochi will open its doors to tourists, skiers and snowboarders on December 26. This is reported by the press service of the city.

With the start of the winter season, eight freeride zones, two snow parks, 30 km of trails and 13 ski lifts will start operating. As soon as the snow cover reaches the required level, evening skiing will be launched at the resort.

According to KrasnodarMedia news agency, the region expects about half a million tourists during the New Year holidays. It is planned to receive 2.7 million people in total during the winter season.

Earlier it was reported that a sixth gambling zone may appear in Russia. The Cabinet of Ministers approved the draft law of the Ministry of Finance on the creation of such an object in the Altai Republic.
