The state prosecution has requested up to 25 years in prison for the son of the former head of the Federal Migration Service and other defendants in the case of falsification of evidence against the management of Merlion. This was reported on December 22 by the newspaper Kommersant.

"The longest sentences are 25 years in a high—security penal colony with the deprivation of special titles and awards as additional punishment for Sergei Romodanovsky and Rustam Yusupov," the report said.
