Netanyahu promised Iran a "tough response" in case of actions against Israel

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced his readiness to give a "tough response" to Iran in case of actions against Israel. The politician made the corresponding statement on December 22 at a joint press conference with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and President of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides after the leaders' meeting in Jerusalem.

"We know that Iran has been conducting exercises recently. We are closely monitoring this and conducting the necessary assessment. I want to make it clear to Iran that any actions against Israel will be met with a very harsh response," Netanyahu said.
