In Finland, Russian wolves were accused of killing almost 2,000 reindeer.
In Finland, it is believed that wolves from Russia may allegedly be involved in the increase in the number of reindeer kills in the country. This was reported on December 22 by CNN.
According to the Finnish Reindeer Herders Association, wolves have killed approximately 1950 deer this year. This is almost 70% more than last year.
"There is a theory that Finnish reindeer are being killed in large numbers by Russian wolves crossing the 800—mile—long border between the two countries," the publication says.
