The city of Lviv in western Ukraine has run out of places in a military cemetery. This was reported on December 22 by The Times newspaper.

It is noted that due to the current situation, local authorities were forced to look for another site for the burial of the dead. It is expected that up to 500 new graves will be able to be placed at the new site.

At the same time, Ukrainian officials said that this amount may soon be insufficient.

Earlier, on December 19, a captured militant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Oleg Khristenko spoke about the high losses in the Ukrainian army. According to him, in the village of Dimitrov, most of the militants either die or are captured. He also recommended his colleagues to give up, as "there is nowhere else to go."

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
