- The farmers of Transbaikalia received 42 million rubles for the development of farms
The farmers of the Trans-Baikal Territory received more than 42 million rubles in state support. The money was distributed among the farms of three districts, the press service of the regional Ministry of Agriculture reported on Monday, December 22.
Thus, 32 million rubles were allocated for the development of two family farms in Aginsky and Mogotuysky districts. The money will be used to build a vegetable storage and two sheep farms.
Another 10.5 million was allocated to farmers from Borzinsky, Mogotuysky and Aginsky districts within the framework of the Agrostartap program. They use the funds to develop sheep farming. Farmers plan to purchase 338 sheep and 10 pieces of equipment.
Since the beginning of 2025, 31 farmers have received grant support for 132 million rubles, writes ChitaMedia news agency. With this money, farms will increase production growth by 30-50% over the next two years and create 32 jobs.
Earlier, Izvestia wrote that rye bread production in Russia has decreased 15 times over the past 35 years. The main reasons lie in the falling demand for rye and the low cost of grain.
