The psychologist gave recommendations on the organization of the New Year
To reduce the stress associated with preparing for the New Year, you should reduce the requirements for the organization of the holiday. Psychologist Anetta Orlova reported this on Monday, December 22.
"Make yourself a little present this year and tell me how great it is that I made it. And leave your strength! <...> Let there be one less dish, let not everything be perfect, but there will be strength to enjoy," the Moscow City News agency quotes the specialist.
Orlova noted that for the expected positive changes next year, it is necessary to analyze the coming period.
"It is also very important to appropriate the positive things that happened in that year, which is still underway. It is only with gratitude that we can achieve well-being. And gratitude for what we have," Orlova noted.
The psychologist also suggested writing out on a piece of paper 30 good events that happened to you in the past year. According to her, the brain remembers problems and worries by default, so it is important to consciously switch attention to the positive aspects. Such a simple ritual helps to reduce internal tension, according to the website. kp.ru .
Earlier that day, Olga Simich, a medical psychologist at the Department of Medical Rehabilitation for Children of the Russian Children's Clinical Hospital of the Russian Ministry of Health, said it was important for children to believe in miracles. As children are just beginning to explore the world, believing in a miracle makes their world more understandable and safer.
The day before, financial consultant Natalia Smirnova recommended that on New Year's Eve, instead of an abundance of dishes, prepare one or two salads from available ingredients, adding fruits and sparkling wine to the table, writes Pravda.Ru .
