In the Belgorod region, three civilians were injured as a result of drone attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on December 22 by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.

"In the Shebekinsky district, on the section of the Shebekino —Ziborovka highway, a drone attacked a passenger car. The driver was injured," Gladkov wrote on his Telegram channel.

He noted that the man with barotrauma was taken to a medical facility, and his vehicle was damaged. The head of the region added that a married couple was injured in the village of Krasny Pakhar when a drone of the Ukrainian army was hit. A man and a woman were also hospitalized with shrapnel wounds.
