An Airbus A320 plane flying from Dubai to Yekaterinburg made an emergency landing in Ashgabat with the engine turned off. This was announced on December 22 in the Telegram channel of the Ural Airlines carrier.

"The aircraft commander determined the difference in fuel readings. To ensure the safety of the flight, acting in strict accordance with the instructions, he turned off the engine and landed safely at the nearest airfield," the message says.
