In the Volgograd region, mass street celebrations were canceled, as well as the sale and use of pyrotechnics for the New Year. This was announced on December 22 in the press service of the regional administration.

"From December 25, 2025 to January 20, 2026, the sale and use of pyrotechnic products, including fireworks, are prohibited in the region," the administration wrote on its Telegram channel.
