The Dutch Foundation "Legal Initiative" is included in the list of undesirable in the Russian Federation

The Dutch foundation Stichting Justice Initiative has been added to the list of undesirable organizations in Russia. The name of the resolution foundation appeared in the list published on December 22, which is published on the official website of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation.

At the same time, the Russian Prosecutor General's Office made the decision to recognize the foundation as an undesirable organization on December 16. According to the agency, after Russia's withdrawal from the Council of Europe in March 2022, the organization's activities shifted to compiling reports on the human rights situation in the context of the Ukrainian conflict.

In addition, the organization supports the Ukrainian authorities in collecting materials for subsequent transfer to the International Criminal Court related to alleged war crimes allegedly committed by the Russian army.

On the same day, the Russian Prosecutor General's Office banned the activities of three Polish organizations. According to the agency, the organizations are developing strategies for military and economic deterrence of Russia, information warfare, and the expansion of sanctions against the Russian Federation and friendly states.
