Dongfeng recalled almost 13 thousand cars in Russia

Dongfeng Motor Rus, which is the official representative of the Dongfeng brand in Russia, is recalling 12.9 thousand DFH4180 (GX) tractor units. This was reported by Rosstandart on December 22.

The reason for the recall was various violations. These include exceeding the permissible sound level while driving and the lack of illumination of the symbol for controlling the fan of the heating and/or air conditioning system.

On all tractors, representatives of the brand will have to change the configuration parameters of the power plant using a software update and replace the mufflers if necessary. The control panel will also be completely replaced with the identification of manual controls, control signals and indicators.

9308 Dongfeng DFH4180 (GX) machines sold between January 15, 2023 and July 11, 2025, and 3606 that have not yet been sold, are subject to recall. All work for tractor owners will be free of charge.
