The Russian government will not extend the moratorium on fines for developers for postponing housing commissioning. This was announced on December 22 by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

"The President instructed not to extend the moratorium on fines for developers for violating the deadlines for the transfer of shared-equity construction facilities. We have already made such a decision," Mishustin said during a meeting with the deputy prime ministers.

On December 19, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced during the "Results of the Year" that the moratorium on supporting the construction industry would not be extended in the Russian Federation. The Russian leader stressed that it is necessary to finish the construction that has begun and prohibit new construction before it is completed.
