- More than a thousand children participated in the New Year's program at the Victory Museum in two days.
On the first weekend of the Victory Tree, more than a thousand children took part in it. The New Year's program started at the Victory Museum on December 20. Hundreds of children of the participants were the first to embark on a fascinating historical journey, which took place through the large-scale multimedia exhibition "The Path to Victory" of the museum on Poklonnaya Gora. This festive event has already become a traditional gift for many children of military personnel, combat veterans, and employees who died in the line of duty.
"The Victory Tree has been launched in our museum. Exciting New Year's adventures will await the children until the end of the holidays. And I want to thank our partners - the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation, the Movement of the First and many other caring organizations, thanks to which thousands of children from the families of the participants of the SVO will be able to visit this wonderful interactive New Year's game," said Alexander Shkolnik, Director General of the Victory Museum, Deputy Secretary of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation.
The children were waiting for a team trip in historical scenery, laser tag, puzzles and secret ciphers, acquaintance with fairy-tale characters and heroes of our country. The children went on a historical journey, where they passed various tests together with their friends, showed their knowledge, ingenuity and mutual assistance. The team's goal was to rescue the Snow Maiden, who accidentally fell into the trap of an old military film. The young participants were transported back in time, met brave heroes, overcame obstacles and traps, showed courage, responsiveness, justice and kindness. Frame by frame, the archival film was restored and the Snow Maiden was returned. In the final, the children met with Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden, who presented them with New Year's gifts and lit the Victory Tree.
"This year, more than a thousand children, participants of the SVO, came to the interactive game "Victory Tree" from about 40 regions of Russia. Every year, the number of children taking part in this event increases. We try to make sure that every child has the opportunity to visit the Victory Tree in Moscow at least once. The Victory Museum is one of their main partners of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation, which organizes various events, and we try to support these initiatives," said Mikhail Artamonov, Head of the Public Projects Department of the Defenders of the Fatherland State Foundation.
The interactive New Year's Eve game "Victory Tree" will be on display at the museum on Poklonnaya Gora until January 9, 2026. The Victory Museum invites children from 6 to 14 years old to join an exciting historical journey.
