In Ukraine, they intend to accuse the mayor of the capital, Vitali Klitschko, of a criminal offense. This was announced on December 22 by the head of the Kiev city Military Administration Timur Tkachenko.

"I am preparing a statement on the commission of a criminal offense related to the inaction of the mayor in relation to one of the strategic facilities of the city of Kiev. The details will be released soon," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Tkachenko also said that the Kiev District Administrative Court refused to satisfy Klitschko's application for securing a claim for the suspension of personnel orders of the military administration.

According to the head of the military administration, the mayor continues to make appointments without coordination with the military administration, which leads to decision-making in key departments, including transport, without proper coordination. He stated that he would challenge such appointments in due course.

On October 13, Tkachenko announced that he had appealed to law enforcement agencies and the General Staff of Ukraine with a demand to check the activities of Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko to ensure the security of the capital.

On October 9, the head of the Servant of the People party faction in the Kyiv City Council, Andriy Vitrenko, announced that a draft decision on Klitschko's resignation had been registered. According to him, this decision is supported by almost all deputies of Kiev.
