In the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), a correspondent was killed as a result of an attack by drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). Lenta.ru Nikolai Chigasov. He was mortally wounded in mid-September while performing a combat mission near the village of Verkhnekamenskoye near Seversk.

Nikolai Chigasov began his career as a journalist at Moskovsky Novosti, from where he moved to Lenta.ru .
