Liksutov spoke about the launch of a hybrid pleasure craft in the capital
A hybrid pleasure vessel has been launched in the capital — it transfers passengers on the Kievsky ― Kitay Gorod route, said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor for Transport and Industry.
"As part of the Transport Development Strategy until 2030, which was approved by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, we continue to develop water transport. Regular river routes have been operating in the capital for more than 2.5 years. And now we have launched the first hybrid pleasure craft, Strelna, which already transports passengers in the city center," Liksutov said.
The Strelna electric boat is characterized by smooth running. Unlike its diesel predecessors, the vessel does not create noise and vibrations. It can go on the route at any time of the year. Capacity — up to 130 passengers.
There is a restaurant on board. A climate control system is installed in the cabin with panoramic windows. It is also equipped with media screens. There is an outdoor terrace on the second deck.
During the river trip, passengers will be able to see about 15 city attractions, including the Moscow Kremlin, Vorobyovy Gory and the Cathedral of Christ the Savior.
There are three regular river routes in Moscow: Kievsky — Fili Park, ZIL — Pechatniki, and Novospassky — ZIL. They have 31 single electric vessels and 23 floating berths.
Transportation on the Strelna vessel is carried out by Vodohod JSC. Passenger Port". The operator is responsible for the supply, repair and maintenance of regular electric vessels and their floating berths.
