A case of mediation in bribery was opened in Rostov-on-Don.

A criminal case on mediation in bribery has been opened against two high-ranking officials of the Rostov-on-Don administration. This was reported to RIA Novosti on December 22 by law enforcement agencies.

"A criminal case has been opened against two senior administration officials under the article "Mediation in bribery," the agency's source said.

He also said that a criminal case had also been opened against a representative of a group of commercial organizations.

They are suspected of taking bribes and imposing unjust sentences.

Earlier, on December 15, the head of the city administration's procurement department was detained in Yalta on suspicion of fraud with a municipal land plot and accepting a bribe of 300 thousand rubles. According to the investigation, an unnamed official born in 1970 demanded from a resident of Yalta more than 300 thousand rubles for registration of ownership of a land plot that was in municipal ownership.
