It is too early to talk about a reversal of fertility trends in Russia, but 26 regions of the country are experiencing an increase in this indicator in 2025. This was announced on December 22 by Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova during the final meeting of the Council under the Government of the Russian Federation on guardianship in the social sphere.

"Of course, it's too early to talk about a reversal of fertility trends, but you and I understand that this is not a quick process. We must work tirelessly on this, and then, of course, there will be results," TASS quoted her as saying.
