- A number of power facilities have been launched in Karelia, Chechnya, Khabarovsk and Krasnoyarsk territories.
On Power Engineering Day, energy facilities were put into operation in Karelia, the Chechen Republic, Khabarovsk and Krasnoyarsk territories. This was reported by the Rosseti press service.
"Today, technologically complex facilities have been put into operation, built using the most modern Russian equipment. These launches confirm that despite all the challenges our country faces, the energy industry continues to develop and solve the tasks set by the president to improve the reliability of energy supply and connect new consumers," said Alexander Novak, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, at the ceremony.
The 110 kV Granit substation was launched in Karelia for the development of mining. A 110 kV Veduchi facility has been commissioned in the Chechen Republic, powering the resort of the same name. The 220 kV Polymetal substation for the Albazino gold deposit has been put into operation in the Khabarovsk Territory. In Krasnoyarsk, after a large-scale reconstruction, the 220 kV supply center "CRP" was opened in the power supply scheme of the Krasnoyarsk CHPP-3 and supplying the Krasnoyarsk aluminum plant. The Siberian Generating Company has launched a new power unit at the power plant itself, Rosseti emphasized.
The Minister of Energy said that the Russian thermal power plant continues to develop. "I am grateful to all the power engineers who, without sparing their time and health, sometimes at the cost of their own lives, protect our country, make it stronger and more powerful," said Sergey Tsivilev.
"By tradition, we celebrate our professional holiday by launching large power facilities. They will support the development of industry and tourism in the regions, and ultimately will contribute to the social and economic growth of our country. Digital systems and technological solutions have been applied at each of the commissioned substations, which guarantee high reliability of power supply. The share of Russian equipment exceeds 95%," said Andrey Ryumin, Head of ROSSETI.
