In the fall of 2025, the average price of used SUV segment cars (crossovers and SUVs) decreased by 6.5% compared to last fall and amounted to 1.5 million rubles. On December 22, experts from Avito Avto told Izvestia about this.

Renault Duster (-15.2%; up to 1 million rubles), Hyundai Tucson (-14%; up to 1 89 million rubles), Mitsubishi Outlander (-11.7%; up to 1.34 million rubles), Hyundai Santa Fe (-10.6%: up to 1.69 million rubles) and Toyota RAV4 (-10.5%; up to 1,870,000 rubles. Also, a decrease of 9-10% was recorded for the Nissan X-Trail, Chevrolet Niva, Toyota Land Cruiser, Kia Sportage and Volkswagen Tiguan.

At the same time, crossovers and SUVs of Chinese brands have become more affordable by 7.8%, their average cost now stands at 1.85 million rubles. The most significantly decreased prices were Voyah Free (-16.3%; up to 3.8 million rubles), Lifan X60 (-16%; up to 520 thousand rubles), Li Auto L9 (-15.3%; up to 6.73 million rubles), Chery Tiggo (T11) (-14.6%; up to 350 thousand rubles) and Great Wall Hover H5 (-14.5%; up to 650 thousand rubles). From 11% to 14%, Chery Tiggo 7 Pro, Li Auto L7, Great Wall Hover H3, Chery Tiggo 4 Pro and Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max also lost in price.

"The positions of crossovers in the secondary market are strengthening: compared to the fall of 2024, the share of such cars in the supply increased from 23% to 28% in September-November. At the same time, the number of SUV representatives from China increased the most over the year — by 75%. This positive trend is due to the growing popularity of cars in this segment among consumers: sellers are guided by the preferences of users who make a choice in favor of practicality and increased cross—country ability, which is especially important in the winter season," said Andrey Kovalev, director of the Used Cars department at Avito.

Earlier, on December 19, experts said that the increase in prices for used cars in Russia in 2026 will amount to 5-10%. Mostly good foreign cars and stable domestic brands will become more expensive, while the price perspective of the Chinese "secondary" is still questionable.
