United Russia has sent special equipment for its participants
United Russia and the Veterans of Special Military and Counterterrorism Operations Foundation from Yekaterinburg handed over special equipment, including ATVs and drones, to participants of the special military operation in the Rostov region. This was reported on the party's website on December 22.
The solemn transfer took place in the Rostov region with the participation of the Secretary of the General Council of the party Vladimir Yakushev. He expressed the hope that the transferred equipment would help on the front line.
"United Russia has already handed over two ATVs to us. We received the second one just three days ago, and with its help we managed to evacuate a seriously wounded soldier. Due to the fact that the evacuation was carried out quickly, the man remained alive," said a soldier with the call sign Cap.
The transferred equipment, including quadrocopters, additional batteries and ground stations, was ordered by the military for use in the Red Army and Pokrovsky directions. According to Vladimir Yakushev, Secretary of the General Council of United Russia, assistance is provided strictly according to requests from fighters, which increases its effectiveness.
The soldier with the call sign Meimun stressed that drones, including reconnaissance vehicles and strike Lancets, perform key tasks to detect and defeat the enemy. He also added that the party provides communication with manufacturers to promptly eliminate deficiencies in technology.
"These are now one of our most important "eyes", for which we express our great gratitude to United Russia," the fighter emphasized.
The director of the foundation, Sergey Pavlenko, announced the continuation of support for the fighters in the coming year.
"It is important that our Heroes are provided with everything they need. May this New Year's Eve help become a harbinger of our common Victory, bring peace to every home," he said.
Earlier, on December 8, United Russia and the Veterans of Special Military and Counterterrorism Operations (SVO and KTO) Foundation handed over guns to Russian fighters to fight drones. According to Yakushev, the cargo was assembled at the request of the servicemen themselves and includes smoothbore rifles and special cartridges.
