BFMTV reported the theft of over 8,000 diamonds and 200 pearls from the Louvre.
During the Louvre robbery in October, the criminals stole more than 8,000 diamonds, as well as dozens of other precious stones and over 200 pearls. This was announced on December 22 by the BFMTV channel.
"A robbery in four minutes. And production in the amount of €88 million. In total, at that time they had 8,482 diamonds, 35 emeralds, 34 sapphires and 212 pearls, which were decorated with eight jewels that they managed to carry away," the publication says.
The TV channel also clarifies that the minivan, scooters and a car tower used by the attackers arrived on the day of the robbery from the same area of the Aubervilliers commune, located in the northern suburbs of Paris.
