An eyewitness to a car explosion in southern Moscow shared details of the incident

The car explosion in the south of Moscow was very loud. An eyewitness to the incident told Izvestia about this on December 22.

The eyewitness's sister lives in the area of the incident. So she immediately ran to her, not knowing that the car had exploded.

"[A friend] called and said, 'What's wrong?' I say, "I'm going to go find out what happened." And there's a car explosion here," she shared.

She also noted that the explosion was heard throughout the area.

In the morning, eyewitnesses told Izvestia that a pop occurred in the courtyard of an apartment building in the Zyablikovo district of Moscow, after which one car caught fire. According to preliminary information, one person was injured. As a result, a criminal case was opened. Investigators are establishing the circumstances of the incident. The scene is being examined by investigators in cooperation with the city's operational services.
