The calculation of MLRS "Grad" destroyed the accumulation of manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Sumy region

The calculation of the BM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) of the Tula Guards Airborne Forces (Airborne Forces) of the Sever group of forces destroyed a cluster of infantry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in a stronghold in the Sumy region. This was announced on December 22 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

According to the ministry, the paratrooper artillery team, having received the coordinates of the location of the Ukrainian militants, fired a burst of rockets at the specified point. Objective surveillance footage taken from the drone confirmed the destruction of targets. After completing the combat mission, the crew retreated to the rear, where they replenished their ammunition reserves and reloaded, after which they returned to the task.

The gunners are continuously destroying equipment and manpower of the Ukrainian formations, as well as supporting the airborne assault groups with fire. The units of the Tula paratroopers unmanned aviation systematically conduct aerial reconnaissance to identify the enemy's location and correct the guidance of guns.

The ministry noted that the paratrooper gunners of the rocket artillery battalion are on combat duty around the clock - targets are eliminated both in open and wooded areas.

On December 2, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that crews of 122-millimeter towed D-30 howitzers of the Guards Artillery Regiment of the Tula Guards Airborne Forces of the North group of Forces inflicted fire damage on the Armed Forces of Ukraine, disabled and destroyed artillery systems, fortifications and field ammunition depots of the enemy in the Sumy region. A fortified point of Ukrainian militants was identified as a result of aerial reconnaissance.
