The protests in Novi Pazar, Serbia, continue almost all day, with young people under the age of 35 taking part in them. Footage from the scene on December 22 was published by Izvestia.

"According to statistics, the majority of the city's residents are young people under the age of 35, who are always eager and ready to support any clashes," Sergei Petrov, a correspondent for Izvestia, said.

At the moment, according to Petrov, students are forming a list of candidates for possible early parliamentary elections. It turns out that the current action is a preparation for a larger protest, which is planned in December.

In addition, residents from different regions of the country came to the action in support of local students. According to the protesters, about 200 students of Novi Pazar State University have already been expelled for participating in the rally, and about 30 teachers have been dismissed for their support.

On November 11, Bloomberg reported that thousands of protesters took to the streets of Belgrade, opposing the construction of the Trump Tower hotel complex in the city center. The project envisaged the construction of at least two skyscrapers, including a 175-room hotel and 1.5 thousand luxury apartments in the center of Belgrade, across the street from the Serbian government building.
