Photos of the terrorists who attacked Jews on Bondi Beach in Sydney will be posted in 70 mosques in the Philippine city of Davao to get more information about their stay in the city in November 2025. This was reported on December 21 by The Times of Israel newspaper with reference to the statement of the senior Muslim cleric of Davao Sheikh Muhammad Yusop Pasigan.

"We will post photos above the doors of our mosques, front and back. One of the other measures we are taking is that if there are newcomers to mosques, we will receive their details and identification cards. If they resist and start riots, we will call 911," the sheikh said.

He also said that the terrorists were "worthless and bad people."

On December 14, terrorists opened fire on people near Bondi Beach in Sydney during an event dedicated to the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah. One of them was shot dead, and the other was treated.

On December 17, the New South Wales State Police announced on their website that one of the men involved in the shooting at Bondi Beach in Sydney, Navid Akram, has been charged with 59 charges. According to preliminary data, the attack was motivated by the "ideology of the Islamic State" (IS, an organization recognized as a terrorist organization and banned in the Russian Federation).

The Financial Times newspaper reported on December 15 that Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is ready to tighten legislation on firearms trafficking after a terrorist attack. According to him, the authorities will do "everything necessary" to protect the Jewish community in Australia.
