A car and a school bus collided in the Udmurt Republic, injuring 14 people. This was reported on December 21 in the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Republic.

"Today <...> a traffic accident occurred on the Izhevsk-Uva highway near the village of Tochkogurt," the department's Telegram channel said.

It is noted that as a result of the accident, seven children, two escorts and a bus driver, as well as the driver and three passengers of a passenger car were injured. All the victims receive the necessary medical care.

A criminal case was opened into the incident under Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of traffic rules and operation of vehicles").

On December 20, an accident involving a passenger bus occurred in the Omsk region. According to the Izvestia source, six people died as a result of the incident.
